#ADRattrayWhisky @TamdhuWhisky Finish: lingering sweet brown sugar, orchard fruit and spicy ginger. Yummy!

#ADRattrayWhisky @TamdhuWhisky Palate: another thick sweet arrival, this time with more spice. There's toffee and honey to start, some shortbread, a little salinity, Horlicks and a huge sour grapefruit note. Apricot and icing sugar give a dryness inviting another sip. Lovely!

#ADRattrayWhisky @TamdhuWhisky Nose: this reminds me of the Glenburgie from last week's @whisky_cellar TT very grain like: loads of vanilla ice cream, buttered popcorn and dry icing sugar. There's some damp grass, pine needles, raisin stuffed baked apples covered in caramel sauce

#ADRattrayWhisky @TamdhuWhisky (Bourbon Cask!) very pale gold in the glass, swirls cling as a hairline crack in the glass, bead up slowly and fall as slow thin legs.

Tamdhu’s 21-year-old whisky is now available in specialist shops, including Total Wine & More in the U.S. The release comes with a price tag of $400 per bottle. With just 12k bottles produced, the supply is limited across markets.
