Earlier, Samsung has started rolling out One UI 9.0 for the Galaxy S26, starting from Korea before the global rollout that happened more than a week later, to let users enjoy the new Galaxy AI features that were first introduced to the Galaxy Z8 series released this year. Now, Samsung has started development of One UI 9.5 for the Galaxy S26, which sets a huge leap forward for the One UI software, as this version of One UI would be first released for the upcoming flagship Galaxy S27 series to be revealed in next year's Galaxy Unpacked event.

Samsung hasn't revealed what vulnerabilities the October 2026 security patch has fixed yet, but the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, and Flip8 phones have already entered the rollout of this security patch update, which brings this security update that contains all fixes to vulnerabilities discovered since the last security patch released. Therefore, we expect that the details will be revealed next week.
