So angry. My dad has Parkinson’s and we live rurally about three hour drive from his neurology. Teletherapy appts and Medicaid/medicare and not traveling so much are keeping him alive.

Criminal, teletherapy is so importatnt to retired persons and those with disabilities, closing offices exacerbates the problem

Personally I think all people should have control over what hormones they put in their body and at what levels. I think it’s insidious to frame this as a uniquely problematic issue around HRT when there are way bigger and way worse ”disruptors” in the healthcare world, like those teletherapy scams

My work is now getting access to ongoing teletherapy for free and I'm both excited about that and nervous because I don't want it to be a BetterHelp situation, but also, free therapy is very nice.

The highlight of my teletherapy sessions was honestly at the end of every session when my therapist asked to see my dog lounging behind me on the bed in a nest of pillows, and was delighted every single time.

The insurance companies are cracking down on telehealth big time. I'm so grateful for teletherapy and I'm telepsychiatry-- especially when youngest refused to leave the house, it has been a Rescue for us.
