After three weeks, the Ross fire in Northern Texas is 91% contained, after burning more than 90,400 acres (36,584 ha) through Jack County & Palo Pinto County.

We have rapid analysis on the #texasfires coming tomorrow, but seems safe to say that health impacts will be important to track. In the 5-county region most-affected, the share of the population without health insurance ranges from 14% (Carson County) to 29% (Gray County).

29% of households in Gray County are severely cost burdened, spending more than 50% of their income on housing. So are 22% of households in Hutchinson County. A sudden housing supply shock will likely make these challenges worse. Read more at link in my profile. #texasfires
