If u are extremely lazy and on a Mac and take screenshots of stuff then the TextSniper app makes writing alt text very easy
As someone who did humble and workmanlike alt text on twitter since before people without screen readers could see it, one massive tip that has saved me about an hour a week is learning I can just copy text in my iphone’s native photos app and paste that. Absolutely takes all the work out of it

Haven’t used TextSniper. The OS includes copying text from images now, via quicklook, etc.

Haven’t used TextSniper. The OS includes copying text from images now, via quicklook, etc.
