One of the least successful C19th companies was the Manchester & Milford. It got nowhere near the places in its title with a line from Carmarthen to Aberystwyth.Today however, trains are operated between the two by @tfwrail via Cardiff, the 9.00am from Milford arrives at Whitchurch this afternoon.

Is there a finer Restaurant Car service in the UK / Ireland? I think not! A fabulous freshly cooked breakfast on the @tfwrail service from Manchester to Cardiff. The #Holyhead Port closure does have its upsides!
