My wife just taught me the vocabulary for each finger so now I'm telling you:

นิ้วก้อย (nee•ieu goy) = pinky finger
นิ้วนาง (nee•ieu nahng) = ring finger
นิ้วกลาง (nee•ieu glahng) = middle finger
นิ้วชี้ (nee•ieu chee) = index finger
นิ้วโป้ง (nee•ieu pbohng) = thumb

I have been introduced to three Khans in Thailand over the last two decades. They were all German. Then the penny dropped!

or alternatively, "ไม่ใช่หรอ" (mai chai lau) which means "isn't that right?". Thai language is quite flexible and gives you multiple options for the same expression. 3/3
