Same. I used to think #TheBandWagon was a failed attempt to transpose Singin' in the Rain to Broadway with a disjointed result. I now adore the Faust debacle, the immortal numbers and Minnelli's light touch with the Fred and Cyd storyline so that it's basically solely a dance relationship. #TCMParty

In a movie filled with great numbers, this is my favorite. It’s may be my fave Freed Unit number, even. And I couldn’t tell you why. #TCMParty #TheBandwagon

Same! The initial scenes with Astaire, Fabray feel overacted, but after that, #TheBandWagon just rolls along nicely. #tcmparty

I used to think #TheBandWagon was kind of dumb and too over-the-top. Then I suddenly fell in love with it. The songs and dancing are so good. A girl can change her mind. 🤷🏻 #TCMParty

To quote Fred after he kisses Peggy in The Best Years of Our Lives, this shouldn't have happened, but I guess it had to.

It’s wild to me that some pit Gene Kelly against Fred Astaire. They’re both amazing! Gene is more athletic. Fred is more graceful. You can’t go wrong with either. #TheBandWagon #TCMParty

I've been wracking my brain to figure out where I've seen the forensic expert in #AngelFace before... he was Hal, the genial Assistant Director of #TheBandWagon, even appearing in the finale of "That's Entertainment".
