Also, crowdfunder for #TheDarkestWoods ends TODAY at 5pm PT! Will we hit one more stretch goal? Will the "backer train" extend the end time past 5pm? So many questions!

🔓🎉 STRETCH GOAL UNLOCKED: The Darkest Woods will be even bigger and better.

Think we have one more stretch goal in us? We want to expand the collection of interactive bookmarks we made early in this campaign...including some brand-new bookmarks for The Darkest House 🏚️

What's that sound? That rustle—were you hearing it before now? Did that tree branch always creak so loudly? Are those....footsteps?

The Woods’ many terrors can often be heard before they’re seen.

At $235,000—barely $5,000 from where we're at right now—

A series of tarot cards, some distressed, torn, or barely readable. These are from the Rider-Waite series. I wonder how they got like that?

We've encountered this witch in our home game of #TheDarkestWoods, and she's every bit as scary and intimidating as she looks in this illustration. Fortunately, we didn't make her angry!

Cropped version of one of the witches of the Darkest Woods. She has very pale skin, white hair, a crown made of ice, a white gown, and a half-cloak with slits in it that makes it resemble feathers. She is staring off into the distance, as if searching for something or pondering threats to her realm. Perched and flying around her are several snow owls. Illustration by Ben Wootten.
