Lovely lunch-and-gallery catch-up with a friend yesterday. THE GREAT MUGHALS at the V&A was, indeed, great. #TheGreatMughals #ArtSky #London

Beautiful melding of Hindu & Muslim art & tradition in ‘The Great Mughals: Art, Architecture and Opulence’ exhibition at V&A with gorgeously illustrated texts, ornate chests & daggers, & lush floor coverings. This elegant collision of cultures is as heartening as it is opulent. #TheGreatMughals

Took a friend to #Cartier & #TheGreatMughals at #VictoriaAndAlbertMuseum Love being able to take friends with my Membership. Picked out some dazzling showstoppers at Cartier but it was very, very, busy. If I didn't have a membership & the ability to go back I think I might have felt disappointed.

Oh, and I forgot about #thegreatmughals at the #victoriaandalbertmuseum. I learned a lot. And beautiful things. The Taj Mahal mughals!!

“If there is paradise on earth, it is this, it is this, it is this!” - gorgeous afternoon at #TheGreatMughals exhibition @vamuseum.bsky.social. Beautiful things, astonishing craftsmanship, and example after example of global interconnections.

Looking at art, architecture, and opulence (true to its name) under the emperors Akbar, Jahangir, and Shah Jahan, the V&A's The Great Mughals exhibition doesn't just meet expectations, it exceeds them! A truly perfect show.

I wish you had made me the master of royals/Or made my crown the bowl for alms and betrayals/You should have made me mad, crazy only for you/Why make me wise, capable of denials?
