Logo time! Fortunately, I had already recreated the hexagonal logo as an earlier project.

Photo. Fabric glue has been painted onto the areas of the hexagonal logo on the red bar of the sleeve. Indicating which parts are to be white, and which left red. Photo. The hexagonal logo has now been drawn onto the red bar of the sleeve using a dark pen. The paper version sits to the side. Photo. The red bar of the shirt sleeve with a cut-out paper hexagonal logo placed atop. A clear ruler is below it on the sleeve, showing the logo to be approximately 5cm in width. The red bar being ~8cm. Photo. The grey and red sports shirt is lying out with A4 pieces of white paper on top of it. The papers have Zona logos and text printed on them in a couple of different sizes.

Photo. The grey and red sports-top is shown hanging against a pale background. Mostly grey, the Collar and a bar along the top of both arms are red. On the front chest is the word "ZONA". On the upper left arm is a hexagonal symbol with a "Z" large in the center. The tail end of the "Z" breaking up into smaller hexagons. The image has been decorated with a dark vignette with spatter patterns at the edge. Photo. The front and left arm of the grey and red sports-shirt are shown. The "ZONA" lettering has been painted in on the former, the hexagonal logo with a "Z" in the middle on the latter. Both in white. Photo. Letter outlines have been applied, in a dark pen, to the front of the grey and red sports-top. Photo. A grey and red sports-shirt is lying on a tan crafts-board. A print out of the lettering to go on the front is atop it (halved to avoid the zip). On the left the outline of these letters has already been applied. The letters are "Z O N A".

Getting these red bars right was a bit of a challenge. Unless it's very stiff, cloth likes to move in every direction at once.

Photo. Shows detail of the collar/shoulder join between the red material that is sewn to the collar and along the top edge of the sleeve. The edge of the arm strip is butted up to the collar and sewn in place with red thread. Photo. The grey sports shirt is lying on a tan crafts board. Shot shows the upper area, collar and shoulders. Both arms have broad red strips of cloth pinned along the upper edge. Photo. Grey sports shirt shoulder area. The red cloth has been cut to size and the edges folded under to protect the raw edge from fraying. It has been pinned back in place on the sleeve again. Photo. Grey sports shirt with a long piece of red cloth pinned along the sleeve. A chalk line indicating the intended final dimensions of the red cloth area.

At some point I realised the zip was the wrong colour. So out comes the paint!

Photo. The front zip area of a grey sports shirt with a red collar is shown. The, now red, zip is open and loose. The masking tape has been removed. Photo. The front zip area of a grey sports shirt with a red collar is shown. The visible parts of the zip (the cloth parts that close around either side of the teeth of this particular type of zip) are painted red. The tape used for masking is still on the cloth surrounding it. The zip is closed. Photo. The front zip area of a grey sports shirt with a red collar is shown. The black zip area is now shiny with dried fabric glue. Red acrylic paint has started to be applied to it from the left. Photo. The front zip area of a grey sports shirt with a red collar is shown. The zip is black. Just visible is clear tape masking off the non-zip areas. At the bottom of the image is a well used small paint palette (saucer). A white coloured medium has been squeezed onto it (fabric glue).

EU Chat Control didnt pass - proving the media got to alot of you
submitted by themurphy to technology 255 points | 87 comments https://www.patrick-breyer.de/en/citizen-protest-halts-chat-control-breyer-celebrates-major-victory-for-digital-privacy/ Chat Control didnt pass - they didnt even vote because they were afraid the result would be embarassing. And we got told so many times, that EU now wants Chat Control. But it was a big fat lie. EU is a democracy with different opinions, and when a small group of facists tries to read your chats, it does not represent the EU opinion. But the whole media got you thinking so. Proving even on Lemmy, you and me are extremly prone to propaganda. I quoted the article here with the news: > In a major breakthrough for the digital rights movement, the German government has refused to back the EU’s controversial Chat Control regulation yesterday after facing massive public pressure. The government did not take a position on the proposal. This blocks the required majority in the EU Council, derailing the plan to pass the surveillance law next week.
