Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper) in a project with Dave Franco who’s married to Alison Brie (Trudy Campbell) makes me smile. #MadMen #TheShitheads

#DaveFranco and O'Shea Jackson Jr. star in #TheShitheads, a new road trip comedy.

Kiernan Shipka, Nicholas Braun, and Peter Dinklage round out the cast.

After debuting at Sundance, Independent Film Company acquired the film for release this summer.

First look at Macon Blair’s ‘THE SHITHEADS’ starring Dave Franco, O’Shea Jackson Jr and Mason Thames.

The comedy follows two unqualified bozos hired to shuttle a rich kid to rehab - only for the job to spiral into total mayhem.

Macon Blair's road trip comedy #TheShitheads is a steady two-hander that never quite soars, but is elevated by an eclectic batch of supporting roles that supply bursts of energy in the right places.

Every time writer/director Macon Blair throws a new wrinkle into the plotting of #TheShitheads, sometimes switching up subgenres entirely as he is typically known to do, there are diminishing returns from the outrageously funny first act

I really wanted to like #TheShitheads but Macon Blair's road comedy is wildly uneven and isn't nearly as funny as it should be given the premise and the cast. #Sundance2026
