Fantastic new acquisition for the collection: Beautiful 1955 Dell paperback of Campbell’s “Who Goes There?” (basis for “The Thing”) and other stories, with an introduction by Theodore Sturgeon. #books #sf #ScienceFiction #TheodoreSturgeon #TheThing

Great encouragement to discover the late #TheodoreSturgeon, by @telltalebooks.bsky.social: www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nn4...

Likely my fave writer. Sturgeon's career, arguably peaking in the 1950s, bridged US sci-fi's rationalist Golden Age to counterculture New Wave. Also added Romanticism to sci-fi

Super sweet addition to my Sturgeon collection, a first edition paperback from August 1963, and the first anthologization of Sturgeon’s novella “There Is No Defense.” #TheodoreSturgeon #sf

The Man Who Lost the Sea-TheodoreSturgeon

More Than Human
No Longer Human
