Oh my god the second high level dungeon was sooo much more rewarding. Zarcone got a unique spell out of it that will make great use of his high dex, got some good levels, and then upon returning to Dagsion he learned thoron. Bona got his B rank spells on each side too!

unit 15 — veyle — fell child.
an incredibly late join chapter meant that veyle didn't have much time to shine or contribute, but that didn't stop me from trying. i immediately inherited canter and draconic hex, while swapping out her personal tome and dagger for a bolganone and thoron, which —

![A screenshot of the analysis section of Hanneman's page on the Fire Emblem wiki (link: https://fireemblemwiki.org/wiki/Hanneman#Analysis)
Hanneman is a decently solid mage, featuring excellent spells such as the 3-range Thoron, the long range Meteor, and the accurate Sagittae. For downsides, Hanneman joins with the lowest speed stat out of all units recruitable in Part I, but this is mostly fixed if you bring him up to the Warlock class, which gives him enough speed to double armors on maddening mode from the class base. For every other enemy type, it is surprisingly reliable of him to reach one shot [...]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:4q2djf73k7zaptdx6vhk6ont/bafkreifkxzbbadug3g22kzewhlnvsqa2ux3v52cslzrediclahatfb6vra)

more nukes were available and protecting a 1hp unit became less simple she could transition into Jeritza's dedicated adjutant. fitting, with all her DK kills.
and Jeritza is anything but weak as a unit. High stats, murders on player phase, distant counters on enemy phase. even has thoron. He's Good

wouldnt make sense for them to be acting in this scene bc validar isnt there to witness it, so robin genuinely intended for chrom to kill them as a failsafe ic they genuinely lost control, which they mostly did by the end
but chrom would rather brunt a thoron he didnt know he'd survive anyways 😭

Armored unit + Micaiah for a healer that doesn't mind enemy range. Also maxes G. Sacrifice exp.
Wolf Knight + Byleth. Areadbhar is a fun lance.
Sage + Byleth. Thyrsus + Elsurge is pretty funny (as is 5-range Thoron)
Diamant + Ike. Forge a Silver G. Axe and he can pull off big Great Aethers

since bluesky annoying doesn't let me do polls, head to twitter and vote on this poll on who to give the starsphere to x.com/lazykatie69/...

chat who should I give the starsphere to for now?
My best options rn are Linde for preserving Aura Thoron and Swarm uses, or Tomas for preserving Parthia uses
