Today's cards: 5 of Coins, 6 of Swords, & The Pope. If you want things to be different, you are going to have to take the chance and do something different. If you want to change the world you live in, be it a different nation or a different roof, you are going to have to take the chance and do something differently to make it happen.

Today's cards: 6 of Cups, 7 of Swords, & Knave of Wands. The past is a thief of the present and holds hostage the future. Sounds too pithy? Then why do you keep ignoring what really happened and wishing that everyone would stop bringing up difficult subjects? That tall glass of iced nostalgia has been artificially sweetened and no one else wants to drink from that.

Today's cards: The Hermit, 9 of Swords, & The Empress. It is a scary time to be "out there". There are too many fears and horrors that can't be rationalized away or dismissed as someone's fever dream. If you must remain "in here", use the time carefully. Distractions, be they pleasurable or not, will not prepare you for when you have to step back out.

Today's cards: Temperance, II of Wands, & The Devil. The boat is not steady but it is floating, for now. Take a good look at yourself, your choices, your goals, and your trajectory. All four need to be in alignment if you are going to get your way. If something is off, then take the time to identify and sort out what is wrong.

Today's cards: 7 of Swords, 3 of Chalices, & Knight of Swords. It would be very easy for you to take this win even though it will be based on a lie. It would also be very easy for you to take comfort in the win as long as no one else knows what really happened. It will be very hard for you to maintain the position you gain from this as no amount of bluffing or follow-through will keep the truth from coming out in the end.

Today's cards: Pa, Ten of Sticks, & Three of Sticks. You don't know everything and trying to find out is going to teach you new levels of futility and disappointment. It is not for you to know everything, it is for you to know how to use everything you already have. You have already learned the hard way that you can't achieve 100% of everything you try.

A three-card cartomancy reading using the Universal Tarot of Marseille. Private and custom readings are available via Noxporium.com.

Today's cards: The Wheel of Fortune, Strength, & Knight of Coins (reversed). While today is a "lucky" day, it won't be an "auspicious" one. How you manage the windfall of the moment will affect you long after everyone has forgotten how you got it in the first place. So spend the day watching after yourself, watching after your manners, and watching how the day unfolds.

Today's cards: Upheaval, Acceptance, & Luck. Yea, that happened. But, as painful as it was, you are not as abandoned as you feel. But you will only know this, if you are willing to lift your head and look around. It will be easy and justifiable to say that it's not worth it when the loss was so deep. Lift your head anyway, if only to see that you are worth recovering.

Today's cards: 6 of Clubs, 9 of Clubs, & Ace of Spades. These are hard times. As much as you have helped others, it's time to accept that help in return. Do not let your pride block you from not only seeing and accepting that help, but that you are in need of that help in the first place! These are hard times and they are going to get harder before they get better.

Today's cards: Eight of Disks, Five of Disks, & Nine of Cups. It is easy to follow the traditions and patterns laid down by others. After all, if it wasn't successful, then you wouldn't be expected to do the same, right? It may have been a successful strategy when it was first begun but the circumstances have changed and so have the ways of dealing with the problem when it arises.

Today's cards: 4 of Wands, 6 of Swords, & 2 of Coins (reversed). It seems foolish to leave a stable situation now, especially when the environment is anything but stable. But, that's the biggest red flag of them all. How long until what is happening "out there with them" starts affecting "in here with you"? Make preparations now so when it becomes clear that the time of departure is coming, you will be ready the moment the departure is needed.

After some thought and consideration of circumstances, I have decided to pause the daily Three Random Cards (formerly known as What Does The Deck Say). Whether or not this is a short term hiatus or a permanent cessation has not been resolved yet. Much has changed since I began Noxporium in 2014, to include what resources I can dedicate to it and what I have received in response.

Today's cards: 2 of Spades, 3 of Hearts, & Cavalier of Diamonds. Regardless of whose fault it was, there's no keeping this partnership intact. More than just your reputation has been damaged and the scars will interfere with other matters for a long time hence. However, regardless of whose fault it was, you still have the responsibility of setting your affairs in order.

Today's cards: 4 of Hearts, Priestess, & Red Joker. You have been told to keep it to yourself for the sake of the family. And for now, you have. But if the matter won't leave you alone, then it's time to talk about it with some of the elders. And if the elders would rather sacrifice your peace of mind to keep others from knowing, then it's time to tell everyone.

Today's cards: Knight of Cups, 5 of Cups, 6 of Pentacles. Regardless of what choice you make, there will be pain from it. Do not let this inevitable outcome stop you from making a deliberate choice. Instead, let it lead your actions through the immediate outcome so you can make something better from the situation after. "Three Random Cards…

Today's cards: Queen of Wands, Fool, & Seven of Pentacles. Here you are, doing everything that is expected of you and your station, and doing it well. So well, that you are able to hide the worrisome toil that wrecks your person to maintain. Take a step back and look at everything you are doing as if for the first time.

Today's cards: Three of Clubs, Chariot, & King of Diamonds. You could put this in front of a group of equal peers. You could also set the proposal on fire for better personal entertainment. This particular project is yours from start to finish so better sit down and work on it properly if you are going to gain any credit, insight, or benefit from it.

Today's cards: The High Priestess, Judgment, & VIII of Scythes. You already know the answer to the questions you have been afraid to ask. Just as you know you have been afraid to ask because you already know the answer and you have been avoiding facing them. Things are now to the point where you can't dodge the question any longer.

Today's cards: Temperance, Knight of Pentacles, & Strength. You have been moving deliberately in your work and making sure that each step is completed before moving on to the next one. The problem you are not aware of yet, is that you are moving at the pace your learned initially and not at the pace that you are capable of now.

Today's cards: Queen of Swords, Five of Pentacles, & Knight of Cups (reversed). It is not your duty to determine what is right. It is your duty to do what is right. If that means going against what edicts have been proclaimed, then it is your duty to do the best you can under the circumstances. Consider carefully the consequences of your decisions and your actions, your words and your silence.

Today's cards: 10 of Hearts, 9 of Clubs, & Jack of Spades. Despite it all, things are going pretty well, so why are you unnerved? Because, despite it all, you know that things can sour at the drop of a hat. Rather than worry about if something is going to happen, take advantage of your secure position to prepare for…

Today's cards: Moon (32), Fish (34), & Flowers (9). It is not enough to do good work. Make sure that your good work is being seen as coming from your hands. Make sure that your good work is being recognized as being beneficial to the establishment you are working for, be it for a corporation or for family. You are not being greedy by seeking this recognition.

Today's cards: 8 of Swords, 9 of Staves, & 5 of Staves. Just because there is more to eat doesn't mean you have to eat it all. Just because there is more that could be done doesn't mean you have to do it all. Pushing yourself past the breaking point to satisfy other people's expectations is one of the quickest ways to be thrown away by them once they can't get any more profit benefit from you.

Today's cards: Whip (11), Stars (16), & Woman (29). You get better at what you practice, however it is also important to practice with someone you trust to give you feedback. It doesn't matter if that practice is taking place at the gym, in the field, on stage, or in a private room. It does matter that you be forthright about what your goals are for this endeavor and that you respect the goals and boundaries of those practicing with you.
