That is because this is desiccated thyroid which is dosed in milligrams.
A 30 mg tablet should contain about 19 micrograms of T4 and 4.5 of T3.
The other 29.95 milligrams (approx.) are mostly thyroglobulin, MIT, DIT, etc. - not thyroid hormone.
