I believe it. Parts of Tidechild were hard, but book 3 in Wyrdwood is like all of the hard parts in the entirety of Tidechild in one book.

His best series so far hands down. The Tidechild series will always have my heart, but this was just a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned.

Reading #CallOfTheBoneShips #TideChild and I don’t know if I’m more saddened for Gullaime or Shorn. Though the character development from that moment is incredible.

Tidechild is my favorite, genuinely saved my life. I was drinking really heavily at the time and by the time I finished the series I was sober. But honestly any of Barker series are amazing. Wyrdwood is he most recent finished one and it was breathtaking.
