Final Fantasy XIV is a devil and a total timesink. My backlog is in shambles; but especially here and now I greatly appreciate games that foster real, genuine connections and friends.
Scheduling issues aside, just finished my last round of reclears with my static. We're done for the next 6 months until Yoshi-P drops the raid tier on Christmas! I'm truly blessed with the group I found, and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Like with twitter and Facebook and other apps, it's lovely that social media is just a vague timesink for you but for a lot of us, it's the only way we get human interaction on a regular basis.
TikTok had a massive community of #ActuallyAustistic people, likely the largest autistic community in the world ever. It included all ages and speakers and non-speakers.
It also had a large chronically ill community.
The potential loss of community for many otherwise isolated folks is significant.

Buying and scanning foreign magazines is not cheap or easy. Between actively hostile publishers, sellers and buyers, expensive shipping costs, online drama, and the massive timesink that is actually scanning these, I'm surprised we've gotten as much as we have.

Buying and scanning foreign magazines is not cheap or easy. Between actively hostile publishers, sellers and buyers, expensive shipping costs, online drama, and the massive timesink that is actually scanning these, I'm surprised we've gotten as much as we have.
