Losing Tinu last year and now Alice. I am heartbroken. There's been way too much loss in the disability community. So many people are now gone. Too many to list.

I still think of Tinu everyday. I'm still grieving her loss. It feels just like yesterday she was still here. I was just thinking about how proud Tinu would have been of me streaming. She would have been there and supporting me like she always did. I miss her so much.

Oh and also I'd like to take this moment to remember the fierce and wonderful Black, disabled activist Tinu. Tinu died because people didn't mask around her. She was begging in her final days for people to listen. Now she's gone, and the world is worse off for it.
As someone who has been dogpiled by leftists on Twitter for speaking about how "we must all be fit and healthy or you deserve to die" is eugenicist bullshit there is literally NOTHING wrong with what she's saying. People just never listen to us. Ableism on the Left is a huge problem.
We gotta have some compassion and understanding in discourse, when it's comrades who you disagree with.

I'll be honest. I'm still struggling this year after losing my dad and Tinu. I'm grieving still but I'm moving forward and doing what I can. I'm doing what I can to stay hopeful and keep helping others. Cause I know that's what Tinu would have wanted.
