Anyone know when Avengers in Galactic Storm release in Japanese arcades? Seeing conflicting sources.
American release was apparently January 1996 while the JP release was sometime in 1995, but I can't find anything to corroborate that or when exactly. JP titlescreen even says 1995-96. Hmmm.

The first thing i noticed about AC8 is the titlescreen ambience. AC7 was ethereal. Ambient synths mixed with jet roar. It made the jets seem like harbingers of hope, which does reflect the themes of a better tomorrow.

As I recall, you hit the spacebar during the titlescreen karaoke to get "GHOSTBUSTERS" spoken in SID chip drive-thru speaker quality glory.

No myterious NPCs or iconic sword really... (a miss on my part in retrospect - all fantasy RPGs need a cool iconic weapon!)

Coming across versions of RPG game archives with old saves from potentially decades ago on them is always an interesting game of glean as much about them from their saved games and character names.

Focus on the forests, hills and far distances; with a finer grained gradient for the sky and more subdued moon.

I started Mina the Hollower recently🐭I played Shovel Knight years ago and I think this is a lot harder 😱While I do kind of wish the game gave you a better idea of where you're meant to go first and the checkpoint starvation is rough, I did like the way you can take your own pace 👍

I just started up my physical Switch 1 version to see if it MAYBE works like Hyrule Warriors 2. Sadly no.
On top of that the Yoshi skin wasn't loading. I can't even choose it. (played in an offline world AND on the Titlescreen)
