And that is another one down. One step closer to a nice long weekend for me, although sadly, after some emergency surgery on the car - which has responded well and is feeling (sounding) much better, thank you - unless something changes drastically by Thursday, not to be spent at Bloody Scotland for the first time in what feels like forever. Looks like it will be a good one too. I think, mental health wise, I just need some down time without long travel, late nights and feeling like I have to perform to a certain standard of happiness and enthusiasm too, so there is that.

Okay. So this will be a very short post. Worked five whole days this week - what’s that about? - and been nowhere interesting over the weekend as weather was too meh. By meh, I mean wet and miserable so a walk to Costa coffee was the highlight of my two precious days off. I did have something positive this week though - after prepping my post for last Monday, I checked my work emails and found out I passed my apprenticeship.

OKay. That week disappeared far too quickly. I mean, I enjoyed my time off work. Plenty of walking, went to the Exotic Zoo and when to see Six: The Musical at the cinema again, but still. What the heck and how the heck are we back at Monday?

This will be a very quick post as I don't have a lot to share. A very turbulent week but I want to put it behind me and look forwards, at least on a personal level, and leave the backward reflections for the books and books alone. I had my work Christmas meal on Friday which was nice, and did not a lot else all week, so I an recycling an old picture from happier times, with the hope that the next few days of relaxation I have planned will produce some more inspiring pictures next weekend.
