I was on the #TorontoSubway yesterday and as I was exiting the train I looked over and the guy sitting beside the door was browsing metal chastity cages on his phone... I had to get off but I still think about that and wish I had said something...

TTC H1 car 5496 was experimentally repainted in Gloucester red, as seen here in Greenwood Shops.
The experiment didn't pan out, however, and the car was soon returned to its bare-metal appearance.

Morning Ontario. As you are reading this, immediately below the tracks for Line 1 at Queen Station, Metrolinx is working with Ontario Transit Group - Ontario Line - Southern Civil, Stations & Tunnel to excavate the future Ontario Line station. Any time you do significant work like this directly underneath active tracks is a time for maximum safety and care. If you have recently heard our partners at TTC announcing the need for reduced speeds through this zone - it is because of these works. Both agencies are literally monitoring to see if anything above these works are shifting by a matter of millimetres! Here you can see drilling rigs installing bolts, as well as the application of a shortcrete concrete layer to the open excavation face. OTG has already excavated shafts on Queen on both the west and east sides of Yonge. The work being done now will connect these two shafts. When the tunnel boring machine arrives, they will pull it through the excavated station and relaunch on the east side and continue tunnelling towards Moss Park!
