In the evening, I decided to walk over to Otsuka and have some (excellent) Ramen - and then I just went on until I reached Ikebukuro station, filling out more of my mental map of Toshima and realizing how close many of these places are actually!

I took this without noticing the three-eyed squeeze toy alien gazing up in awe at what might be Jizo statues (though one has hair). Jizo will protect children, including the unborn and the deceased. At Nanzoin Temple in Toshima City, Tokyo: 35°42'53.0"N 139°42'54.3"E
