#Tradesworkers
Ok, mechanic's wife saved the day.

Three cheers for tradesworkers
Have asked a coworker, if he's also not eligible then, maybe I'll try my GP.

But, any of my UK mutuals that hold passports and also in "a recognised profession"? Lemme know cause I might need you to say you've known me donkeys years.

Do I have any friends who work in medical or education or?
Ok so apparently my boss is not eligible to validate my identity for my passport, even tho she's the fucking ceo of the company.

Passport office are taking the piss

2/ Enough is enough.

New Democrats are offering an alternative. A Green New Deal for Canada will create a million good, green jobs for tradesworkers, youth, and fossil fuel workers building an east-west clean power grid, electric buses, and heat pumps for every home.

Who are these tradesworkers who are apparently too stupid to realize when they're being conned? Are they plants?

A made-in-Canada Green New Deal will create more than a million good-paying union jobs in every corner of this country. We’re talking about a generation of employment for tradesworkers, young people, scientists, fossil fuel workers – and so many more.

I think it's really fascinating that the US generalizes its K12 education and then laments not having skilled tradesworkers while other countries have built learning a trade directly into their K12 pipeline and yet still produce subject matter experts good enough to immigrate here for work.

there are not enough skilled tradesworkers is the real tl;dr here
the boiler is still not fixed in my building but I saw a bald eagle on my walk downtown AND it's slowly warming up (not going to help the indoor temp but I am taking what I can get)

Probably easier and better making it not Hell, and there are a lot of things that could be done. And fun, exciting ways of convincing people employing tradesworkers to pitch in.

One of our good friends was a woman plumber — in THEE highest demand. Women tradesworkers can bank! (modulations apply)

As older tradesworkers retire, apprentices face burnout, discrimination, and red tape that push many out before certification. Kunal Chaudhary, The Walrus’s regional correspondent for Ontario, examines the cost of losing a workforce Canada urgently needs: https://ow.ly/VsN950Z4X3n

I found you when I was looking for other tradesworkers on here.

Today's "blue collar" union tradesworkers are the ones building/keepoing America great! If not for the skill, knowledge & experience necessary to make it happen, would the "elite" GOP ever let their sons/daughters become certified union workers or rather let non-union contractors steal the jobs?

Tradesworkers should still attend college imo.

Yes, even if it doesn't lead to a job.

College isn't some 21st century version of finishing school. It's a place to lose your ego and challenge your most precious beliefs.

College is where you truly "grow UP" - not at some factory, or under a sink.

we have such an amazing shortage of tradespeople, they can ask for the moon and we give it to them bc we just can't go another day with rain indoors and poop coming out of the toilet.

I hope both my kids are smart enough to become good tradesworkers.

That depends on what professional certification you have.
Professors, physicians, cardiologist, radiologist, neurologist, tradesworkers, entrepreneurs, all have different classifications and sometimes provinces have separate programs.

I dunno... I figure them trying to gut the educational system for several decades might have clued us in lol.

I live in a blue state and you still see tradesworkers and union members talking about how it would be a good idea... like... the propaganda is nuts.

Rep. Zack Fields said the bump in benefits would help Alaska retain construction workers and other tradespeople.

“One of the reasons we've been losing skilled tradesworkers is they can't make ends meet,” he said.

Speaking of values, do you have any blue-collar/working class staff members? By that, I mean tradesworkers, transportation workers, grocery workers, union members, etc. People doing the actual work.
