Trainbot Kaen, the final piece of Raiden, arrived yesterday. I would have to say the finished product is everything I hoped it would be. Folks are complaining about his poseability but if you’ve transformed him right I don’t see it at all. He’s heavy but that’s because he’s a working model train

My trainbot photos are absolutely dying on their arse.
Yes, they're too expensive. Yes, they're over-engineered. Yes, the combined mode didn't quite land. But the original G1 figures are the first Takara combiner, and the robot modes on the MPG are absolutely lovely upgrades
