In Transformers # 31 from Skybound, one of the first Decepticons from the G1 Cartoon Ep: "Five Faces of Darkness Part 4", not named, he eventually received the name of Trannis in The Ask Vector Prime blog run by Jim Sorenson.

The High Republic is an publishing initiative from Lucasfilm in the Star Wars universe. Set centuries before The Phantom Menace when the Jedi had peace and prospered. They wore white robes and that was the connection my brain made.
