I do think there is a SPECIFIC TYPE of transmisogynist who hates the traditionally passable grey-zone trans woman a lot more than they hate trans woman who struggle with passing even after surgery, and that specific type of transmisogynist is the type that tormented me my entire life. #transphobia

But even if its "at best 5 dudes" its a stupid play: republicans aren't suddenly going to vote for a Dem just because they dabbled in some transphobia but it will cost them votes.

I am a trans woman and somehow all of the socio-political stuff that really fucks up my personal life is class / economic stuff, lack of a social safety net, lack of public services, stuff like that.

tbf for some reason transphobia has a really hard time getting into German society. That thing in the anglosphere, where everybody left and right is super scared of trans folks just hasn't stuck until now like that. (which is weird because those people love to hate so much)
It really gives the game away when the anti trans orgs are calling the election of the neo nazi party in Germany a "glimmer of hope."
