What’s under the magnifying light this morning? #HandEmboidery of #Asterionella #Diatom #Phytoplankton on a background of #TransferDyes on polycotton twill.
Through a magnifying light there is an embroidery hoop with a black outline sewing of a spiral diatom over an abstract background in pale greens.

Some colour samples for my #phytoplankton. Liking the dark grey at the moment #HandEmbroidery #TransferDyes
An embroidery hoop contains white fabric abstractly transfer dyed green. There are line drawings of phytoplankton on the fabric and some of them have been stitched in two shades of grey and black.
