#asterionella inprint in #waterflea skin. #cladocera #diatoms #plankton #freshwater #microscopy #microscope #photography It also carries young waterfleas in it back. You can see the yolks. Third photo is a more developed waterflea young.

This Bothrostoma like sp #ciliates about 280 Micron in length sure has an appetite! You can see #Dolichospermum, #Asterionella, and a filamentous algae sticking out of its body.

This Bothrostoma like sp #ciliates about 280 Micron in length sure has an appetite! You can see #Dolichospermum, #Asterionella, and a filamentous algae sticking out of its body.
