Even when overcast this is a stunning view from Treryn Dinas headland: Porthcurno with the Minack Theatre beyond. I have better images from previous visits.

Treryn Dinas, a dramatic Iron Age coastal promontory fort or cliff castle in Cornwall. Footsteps (not Iron Age) point towards the bulk of the fort with its sophisticated ramparts hidden from this angle, but you can just make out one rampart on the neck

A land raised by a sea giant… 🌊

In tales of old from Cornwall, the peninsula of Treryn Dinas is said to have been raised from the waves by a sea giant.

This sea-struck land is the setting for Dissonance of Bird Song, which is significant due to Eseld’s sea charms.

Did you find the secret space near the tip of the headland? In my view that's why Treryn Dinas remained a special place throughout prehistory and into the Roman period. See my article in Cornish Archaeology some years ago
