It was good to catch up with Bishop Rachel Treweek today, and after our meeting I took the opportunity to wander around beautiful Gloucester Cathedral. If you watch Wolf Hall the cloisters will be familiar.

I’d be thrilled if it was Bishop Guli, and I think + Rachel Treweek and + Michael Beazley would be very solid choices. But I don’t have much of a sense who is likely to emerge (I suspect it won’t be +Guli, she has been quite blunt abt the dangers of centralising strategies but I’d love to be wrong)
