Always interesting to see a slime-mould. I'm told that this is Trichia maylanii. The two views show the sporangia (orange ball-on-stick structures) before & after they have ripened & shed their spores. Llanymynech Rocks, last Weds.

Trichia botrytis. Unrelated to Botrytis from sauterne wine. But entertainingly I saw the sexual stage of B. cinerea is an ascomycete - Botryotinia fuckeliana. Named in honor of Karl Wilhelm Gottlieb Leopold Fuckel and not a joke by a bio postdoc.

Včera jsem narazil na pěknou čerstvou hlenku vlasatku klamnou (Trichia decipiens), tak jsem oprášil makroobjektiv. Tyhle cca třímilimetrové bambulky jsou prostě kouzelné 😍
