@trioletjam.bsky.social I have only ever done two #triolets before and I struggled, so I am not quite sure what possessed me to try your #TrippleTriolet challenge!!

Anyway, I am immersed in Wuthering Heights at the moment, so this is what came out of your great prompt 😊
The Endless Torment   A witchlight burns upon the heath A shadow stirs through mist and rain Whispers through crags of grinding teeth A witchlight burns upon the heath The dead are restless underneath I hear your voice call out again A witchlight burns upon the heath A shadow stirs through mist and rain   I'm born of earth, you are my sky Bonds neither death nor time can sever Our interred hearts refuse to die I'm born of earth, you are my sky Let the world chain us, let it try Our love will haunt the moors forever I'm born of earth, you are my sky Bonds neither death nor time can sever   Come to me from darkness into night Across the moor, together we will roam Love was the wound that learned to bite Come to me from darkness into night Death may blind, but passion gifts sight Though every storm keeps us from home Come to me from darkness into night Across the moor, together we will roam

Collecting Drops of Moonlight Moonbeams glow, Providing light, Shining down on earth below. Moonbeams glow, And bestow, Light through the darkest night. Moonbeams glow, Providing light. Fairies dance, In the moonlight, I take a peak, just a quick glance; Fairies dance— Dare I join, perchance? If I do, will they take flight? Fairies dance, In the moonlight. Fairies gather drops of moonlight, To toss into the air. Tossed willy-nilly while in flight. Fairies gather drops of moonlight. I stay hidden, out of sight. As moonbeams glow and flare. Fairies gather drops of moonlight, To toss into the air.

I decided I can’t bear to keep rereading and editing this #TrippleTriolet What a great challenge!
So many thoughts are thundering, My mind’s in disarray. I find myself muttering. So many thoughts are thundering, Thoughts send my heart fluttering, My thoughts match this dismal day. So many thoughts are thundering, My mind’s in disarray. I feel the need to clear my mind, Take a stroll around the bay. Thoughts are now all aligned, I feel the need to clear my mind. Negative thoughts are left behind. Troubles a million miles away. I feel the need to clear my mind, Take a stroll around the bay. A sudden flash of silver light, A thunderstorm’s rolling towards the bay. Suddenly, it’s dark as night. A sudden flash of silver light, Such a very frightening sight. I take off running—must get away. A sudden flash of silver light, A thunderstorm’s rolling towards the bay.
