Here's one of raptors from a year ago, they species are one of the main bad guys of my stories. They're got some troglomorphic traits going on, and some anthropomorphism as they're sapient, they aren't supposed to be too realistic, kind of just their own thing.

Troglomorphic trends of palpigrades in the Eukoenenia mirabilis-berlesei group, and discovery of a new cave-dwelling species from Spain (Palpigradi, Eukoeneniidae)
The arachnid order Palpigradi remains poorly studied, particularly with respect to patterns of morphological adaptation to subterranean environments. Subterranean adaptation in palpigrades and compari...

Genomic evidence for ancient introgression and paleogeoclimate co‐driving diversification in cavefish adaptive radiation
Whole-genome resequencing was performed on 62 cavefish species (family Nemacheilidae) and two closely related taxa. Analyses were conducted on intergeneric phylogeny, population dynamics, and species...

These translucent crayfish are often found living alongside (and possibly preying on) Georgia Blind Salamanders (Eurycea wallacei). In 2014, biologists studied these crayfish in captivity and documented the first breeding record for a troglomorphic (aka cave-adapted) crayfish.

A review of cave spiders (Arachnida, Araneae) of the Crimean Mountains, with descriptions of two new species todayheadline
Based on a critical review of the literature and study of the authors’ own collections, a survey of cave spiders of the Crimean Mountains has been conducted, resulting in 20 reliable species records in eight families. Nine species have been discovered in the Crimean caves for the first time, of which two are described as new to science. A classification of spiders by ecological groups depending on their cave lifestyle is provided; a troglomorphic spider is found and described from Crimea for the first time.

#FunFactFriday: Remipedes are a class of troglomorphic marine invertebrates, and despite their resemblance to centipedes or bristle worms, they're actually crustaceans. Some of the biological families are named after Godzilla, morlocks, and the Mayan underworld.
