#TrumpStagflation
tRumpStagflation has started, then tRumpRecession, then tRumpDepression. Worldwide - and all the doing of one exceptionally stupid man who's been given the keys to the kingdom, and is driving it off a cliff (sorry for the mixed metaphor). War, poverty, disease, civil unrest - tRump has done it all.

So far we've had tariff Trumpflation and war Trumpflation in not much more than a year. I'm guessing under-employment Trumpflation is somewhere in the mix, as unfilled jobs rise due to the war on immigrants.

Coming soon: Trumpstagflation!

Demanding to accelerate the inflation, on steroids because his war and his tariffs aren't killing us quickly enough. He wants us to suffer. (He's an idiot, so extremely out of his depth, understands nothing about anything.) #TrumpDepression #TrumpStagflation

"We've seen the early stages of what economists call stagflation. The '-flation' part is inflation, and you've all felt that at the grocery store. The 'stag-' part is stagnation, which is we've got rising unemployment and slower economic growth than we otherwise would have."

Normally it’s one or the other: weak growth or rising inflation. But tariffs gave us both. Welcome to the economics of supply shocks and stagflation.

Powell: "In the near term, risks to inflation are tilted to the upside and risks to employment to the downside -- a challenging situation."

(In other words, stagflation)
