Truth and Reconciliation Day is an opportunity to acknowledge that Indigenous Peoples continue to face systemic racism, cultural erasure, and the generational trauma caused by residential schools.
Honour these truths and assume responsibility for our role to make sure that it never happens again.

1) Atrocities against Indigenous peoples need to be acknowledged, atoned, and repaired
2) Having a day is a great step
3) but it's FAR from the solution
4) Most of the burden of it is carried by Indigenous peoples anyways
5) LANDBACK.
