brevity is hard for me but i think a big consideration for tzimisce embrace tends to be like, an exceptional person capable of exceptional violence, which gordon inarguably is. the fact that he's a straight up genius would probably add to the appeal too

oh, also worth noting that tzimisce have a stronger presence in central and eastern europe, so if his embrace happened around the time of hl2 there'd be slightly increased odds of that. maybe there'd be a coffin in ravenholm that he broke open with a crowbar, idk

brujah's definitely a solid choice, but my mind goes to the tremere given they're probably the most academic of the clans. you could also argue tzimisce, given how they tend to target exceptional mortals to embrace (e.g. how vlad the impaler won a war against his local tzimisces before his embrace)
