Our health care is far from perfect , but it's better than health care for profit. Now at 65 dental is covered as well. But it's not free , we pay taxes so that we can have UHC . This how governments are supposed to work .

We just had to renew ours.
Husband's work swapped from BCBS to UHC.
It's now $295/week.
That's a huge chunk of his take home pay. Just a wee bit under half his monthly income.
This is not sustainable.

My employer-subsidized, non-ACA UHC plan went from $240 to $600 a month. My employer is paying $900 a month towards the total premium. I’d love a simple 13 percent increase.

Same thing happened with my husband earlier this year after having spent 30+ years under the Warner umbrella. If the dental coverage under UHC Medicare Advantage were actually good he still wouldn’t do UHC nor MA. He opted for traditional with a Plan G as well. Medicare Advantage is a blight.

The fact insurance can just deny you a medication prescribed by a doctor is wild to me. You’re not the medical professional you are a scam. You should not be able to dictate the quality of my life because you just don’t want to cover a prescription.

You'd think the Democrats might campaign on a policy of UHC as a central point in their platform. Not distance themselves from the few candidates who do support it.
Love emailing both my heart care and primary care teams to tell them each other's names and what I'm asking of them in a desperate bid to make them hold each other accountable and finally help me figure out what the fuck is going on with me. Just… such a great medical culture we have.

We shouldn't need a paid broker to help us find the right plan after UHC put all my in network doctors out of their network with the same plan next year. I don't want to find new doctors. Especially my primary who I have been seeing for 20 years.

I just got a marketing email from UHC (which I no longer even have) that said if I wanted to unsubscribe I could CALL THIS NUMBER. Unbelievably on brand.
