You thought UHC was a punchline before? Now they're in the death biz.
UnitedHealth already sells your insurance, employs your doctor, and manages your prescriptions.

Now Trump's DOJ let them buy home health and hospice giant Amedisys for $3.3 BILLION – giving them MORE power to raise costs and deny care.

We need to break up Big Medicine.

The US is the only G20 nation without UHC... Except for Federal and State Representatives and Senators - they never vote for it but get it free for life... Hmm, funny that.

All of my doctors keep telling me NOT to choose UHC during open enrollment.
They are tired of their bullshit, and no longer accept it in their offices.

I am so sorry to UHC members
When I was at UnitedHealth HQ with their executives in May, they were OBSESSED with their new AI tool Avery, which replaces human consumer assistance with health care navigation for millions of members. I’d argue not all efficiency tools transfer well to health care. www.forbes.com/sites/saibal...
UnitedHealthcare Is Rolling Out Its AI Agent To 21 Million Members
The company indicated significant success with its initial roll-out earlier this year, and is now looking to expand its agentic reach.

But how does the country club class get shareholder value from insurance through taxes?
UHC/UBI NOW!!!

UHC has always been one of the most evil health insurers.

UnitedHealthcare gave $5,000,000 to MAGA.

UHC greed fighting against Medicare for all.

VOTE BLUE and SCREW UHC.

Día 305 de «Un 2026 de estanterías»:

Spirit of the North 2

UHC's AI tool Avery is being deployed to 21 million instead of the planned 6.5m. And it's used for care coordination, cost-effectiveness comparisons, personalized care navigation, care transition support, etc.

How can we be sure that it won't steer patient care navigation in ways that benefit UHC?

There's a lot of talk about the millions of people enrolled in "Exchange-based" #ACA coverage, but there's also *another* ~2M or so enrolled in essentially identical *same plans*...OFF-exchange.

This means they skipped the ACA exchanges entirely & enrolled directly via Blue Cross, UHC, Molina, etc.

I feel like UHC owes me a few hundred thousand in care denied by AI.

The AI keeps taking my insulin off my prescriptions because it's "unauthorized hormone therapy"

This trash is literally killing us. AI in healthcare is fucking criminal
Vivian did not disclose she was an AI agent. Called me and said “we have your insurance as Blue Cross?” I said that’s wrong. She then asked for my insurance info. I said it’s already in your system, I was just at your facility. She said “oh I can’t access that, let me transfer you to the front desk”
Called place where I’m getting ultrasound today:

“Uh..I just got a call from one of your employees saying I need a different test and she had my address and insurance provider wrong and didn’t know if any of this is covered?”

Receptionist: “oh yeah that’s our AI agent Vivian. She gets confused!”

just had that discussion yesterday with a friend.
as even before #feloninchief & prepubescent DOGE chimps, my minimum standards for candidates are #abolishdhs, #abolishice, anti-genocide, & #uhc. Also tired of all post 9/11 paranoia legislation

We just had to renew ours.
Husband's work swapped from BCBS to UHC.
It's now $295/week.
That's a huge chunk of his take home pay. Just a wee bit under half his monthly income.
This is not sustainable.
October 31, 2026 at 3:05 AM
Single payer is crap. Do you think military insurance is great? No it isn't. Pelosi was right. UHC with multi-payer is how other 1st worlds do it.

Hillary Clinton had Universal health care in her deal, & guess who voted against it bcuz he was too dumb & wrong to understand SP does not = UHC.

Like look at UHC and tell me that's not wire fraud in a trench coat.

My employer-subsidized, non-ACA UHC plan went from $240 to $600 a month. My employer is paying $900 a month towards the total premium. I’d love a simple 13 percent increase.

Quarters aren’t in UHC. From grill to bun
November 2, 2026 at 4:10 AM
Unfortunately American health care is not about curing things it’s a profit margin business. Unlike UHC which delves deeply in preventative care to prevent it!
November 1, 2026 at 6:49 PM
The 'united' States is the only G20 nation that does not have a universal healthcare system.

Except for any former or sitting member of the House or Senate - who never vote for UHC, but get it free themselves.
October 27, 2026 at 8:37 PM
Our health care is far from perfect , but it's better than health care for profit. Now at 65 dental is covered as well. But it's not free , we pay taxes so that we can have UHC . This how governments are supposed to work .
Abdul El-Sayed talks to Canadians about healthcare and the US could do it if they wanted to

Our taxes that we pay in Canada pays for our healthcare

Example: I’ve had several operations and two births and the only thing I paid for was parking and my meds, which was less than $50 for all of this.
October 28, 2026 at 11:42 AM
So the long view for UHC is to raise costs (their profit) until there are only billionaires in the coverage pool. Sounds like diminishing returns eventually
