It's disappointment, sadness, and such that dying of the anti-trans laws affect them an image lacking alt text would actually love from the U Way store WALKED OUT on ULP strike alongside customers!🧵 my rights.

Doctors Council SEIU physicians at Allina Health Mercy Hospital and Unity Campus have ratified their first union contract by 99%, following three years of bargaining and a four-day ULP strike earlier in September.

Hmm, I wonder if any (vaguely) contemporary FPUs have trig/transcendental functions that are approximations even in the range of the float type, rather than (barring bugs) fully-accurate except for the least-significant bit like any FPU I've looked at (or I think technically ±~1.5 ulp is common)

I really enjoy pushing the M33 to the limits.

Latest result for int32_t sin_q1_31(uint32_t phase_q0_32): max abs error ±2.95 ULP, at 27-32 cy/loop, using 7 to 4 regs, respectively.

Absolute error-wise, 21x more precise than ideal float sinf, and up to 5x faster.

No FPU, tables, time-deterministic
Smallest error I got for sin Q1.31 approximation is 1.42 × 10⁻⁹ or ±3.05 ULP. Four optimization classes, balance speed vs reg pressure, measured:
>loop : 32 cy/loop (7 regs , 3 exposed for hoisting)
>perf : 32 cy/loop (6 * , 2 *)
>baln : 35 cy/loop (5 * , 1 *)
>sngl : 37 cy/loop (4 * , 0 *)
Working on a fast sin/cos lib for RP2350.

Reached:
int32_t sin_q1_31(uint32_t phase_q0_32)

Full input range sweep:
worst abs err = -1.512730e-09, SFDR = -176.40 dBc, at phase 4262742563.

No LUTs.
No FPU.
Time deterministic. No branching.
32 ASM instructions/35 cycles.

On September 2 workers walked out for the third time since December, this time in a one-day unfair labor practice (ULP) strike over what the Teamsters describe as retaliation against workers advocating for safer working conditions

You’re talking about ULP 91, or one of the prestige petrols?

Your world is crumbling around you and monsters stalk the streets, some of them bearing familiar faces.

You may as well just come here and lay down on my tongue. Get it over with, you know?

That's right. You'll feel better soon.

No more fear~

It'd just be an esp32-c6, temperature/humidity sensor, and some relays. The ULP core can handle all the schedule and climate logic, only waking the big core for the UI. Hell, if you had a C-wire and wifi connection it could just let the main core run as a background border router.

New (to this list) @metrobusinfo.bsky.social check: no audio and (ulp) no real-time display at Downtown Largo Station Bay E.

Fix: frequent, reliable service so displays, timetables, web pages, and shelters aren't needed.
