And I've spoken about it with my friend and #UOSEnglish colleague Jenny Amos at the #IpswichBookFestival (5/6)

Squinting in the Suffolk sun ☀️

I spent Saturday talking all things children’s books with some wonderfully creatives - thanks @uosenglish for organising ❤️ - I left itching to write more!

We covered all sorts inc:
- current trends
- finding your voice
- embracing feedback
- lots more…

Thank you to the team from Softwood Books - especially Nathan - for coming in to talk to our #UOSEnglish students about the world of #publishing. There was so much interest, they stayed half an hour longer than planned to answer the many questions.
Much appreciated.

This was excellent - really useful and thought provoking. Thank you, @virginiabwrites.bsky.social 📝💛
And we're already looking forward to @georgyjamieson.bsky.social's upcoming visit next month.
