SF5052 is working it's way through the legislature and is likely to pass. The bill currently proposes expanding the dwntwn taxing district to the North Loop and eliminates allocating the 3% sales tax on restaurants to USBank Stad. This is lawmakers greasing the taxpayer revenue ATM for the Wolves.

My dad worked for a nice regional bank that got bought by USBank and I used to think it was the worst national bank ever and then I got out in the world and discovered it was less terrible than most and I’m feeling a similar way about where Steve Ballmer is on this list.

When my Mom died & my bro became the trustee for my Dad, USBank closed the account, no reprieve, because bro was writing checks for my Dad from Seattle & my Dad is in mpls. But I guess banks just have to follow drumpf, not actual laws

How much did it cost to truck up from Iowa these two full-page ads for tonight’s $150/person gala that The Minnesota* Star Tribune is hosting tonight at the very Minneapolis “Heritage” printing facility they just shut down and laid off 125 newspaper employees? Because they forgot to say when it is.
