I agree… The truth must be known!

(And recorded by the USGPO so that it cannot be memory-holed!)
Merrick Garland failed miserably in delivering justice for Trump’s numerous crimes. The absolute LEAST he can do is release Jack Smith’s report so the American people will learn the facts. Publishing the results of special counsel investigations is the norm — burying the truth would be indefensible.

My pleasure. I have an almost 900pge (inc. notes/index) book about tactical airlift in the Vietnam War (USGPO 1983) which I have read twice; I understand the tail.

All Americans can read the Foreign Assistance Act at USGPO, including Congress stating the policy of the USA shall be to promote good governance through combating corruption & improving transparency & accountability.

The USGPO is starting to put opinions out for free but not in any organized system. I get why PACER and pro hac vice costs are so high. Perhaps when we fund the courts appropriately, we can get free pacer. Thanks for doing good work unto then!

House Admin. Committee GOP tweeted:

It’s Fun Fact Friday!

Did you know that every time a new president and vice president take office, nearly 100,000 copies of their portraits are printed for display in over 1600 federal buildings?

… but the haste at which the DOGE team created these charts and rifled through the masses of files found here - github.com/usgpo/bulk-d... - leads me to believe they dumped the bulk data into an LLM or did not composite checks for much. I could be wrong but given past evidence (website being…

This is why I <3 open source. @USGPO joined GitHub this week & @wbushey already rewrote the docs to be dev friendly https://github.com/usgpo/bulk-data/pull/1

A text markup format, such as Markdown, is generally a better format in which to publish content to GitHub in. This content is more likely to be read on GitHub if it's not in a PDF.

bureaucracy is lame, man. it took until 2016 for the USGPO to recommend “Hoosier” over “Indianan”. i love style guidelines as much as any other overly-anxious freak, but i also believe in the fight against boring ass shit like this. it’s time for a change.
