UStok creators don’t feel doom and gloom constantly.
TLDR I remain tiktok obsessed as the trends emerge. I know my FYP isn’t everyone’s but WorldTok and TikTok university have been such interesting developments.

What a complex mess. Oracle, Silver Lake and A16Z will own 80% of TikTok while China owns 20%. The U.S. govt will have a board member and users will be migrated to a new app that licenses the algorithm from ByteDance.
Hard to imagine how this will keep TikTok intact as a great product experience.

Ok so another interesting thing happening on TikTok is WorldTok which came about when they shut TT down in the US, suddenly global creators realized they had been fed a steady diet of UStok and hadn’t really been seeing other countries. Now the algo has changed and shows them shit from everywhere

I don't think you actually want that, the worst care scenario is a more radicalized US populace and I guarantee you you as someone from outside the US will not benefit from that
