Misoprostol is commonly prescribed to horses for the treatment of ulcers, which is something I find very interesting.
Mifepristone is normally used in combination with a second drug, misoprostol, for medication abortion. However, misoprotol works on its own, and most abortion providers have misoprostol-only protocols ready to go.

This morning was an emergency vet visit because Willy got ahold of a dropped ibuprofen. He’s getting care now, and so long as it wasn’t more than one should be okay outpatient. Vet said inpatient was optional with just one, but it also cost twice as much.
