#Sudan: Following multiple reports of imminent attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the Dar Zaghawa region of North Darfur, MSF was forced to cease activities, evacuate our teams and withdraw from Umbaru, Kornoy and Tina on Dec. 24.

- RSF offensive intensifies in North Darfur, with seizure of Abu Gamra and Umbaru towns.

On the same day, the RSF announced its takeover of Abu Qumra and Umbaru. This withdrawal is a precautionary measure intended to allow MSF time to determine the area’s safety for staff and patients.
