Belated realisation that I was obviously drawing a contrast to "railroading" and my underbrain failed to inform me that I was.
"Meadowpathing" is the game design process where you take the flow of play, like "episode structure", and embed it in the game such that it is a clear path through a meadow, a direction to go, but one you can obviously leave and return to at will.

A night of terrible sleep...my semi-dreaming mind just latching on a massive plot issue and refusing down time because apparently the underbrain demands this be fixed now.

I don't have plans to actually make talking head type videos, or really ANY videos, though?

Having a cat presents so much cognitive dissonance when my underbrain insists I'm fundamentally unloveable* and yet I can't think of a single explanation for the way she purrs and licks my hand other than love.
