Yep. People were actively rooting for Bluesky PBC to succeed, they had a huge amount of momentum ... and threw it away.
For the ATmosphere as a whole, well, it accelerated Blacsky and Northsky so in some ways was a good thing in the long run.

Good writing in my view - while some commentary on here has framed Sheeran's justification as a demonstration of the hollowness of "neutrality", as a professional moral philosopher it is also what we in the business refer to as a "lie" and it may be helpful to refer to it as such
