Finished this book tonight #UnderTheWhisperingDoor & without spoilers this was a very good read. It wasn’t my typical cozy book reads, but it really made you think about life & what’s waiting for us after this life ends. Also it really made me think about people I loved whom have passed.

Oh my goodness. #BookSky, the way this book just destroyed me in the absolutely best way. I'm sitting here, face wet with tears as I feel hope for the first time in a very, very long time. Thank you, #TJKlune. #underthewhisperingdoor #gaylit #hopecore

Death and the afterlife are such a mystery and interesting topic. #UnderTheWhisperingDoor lends a captivating perspective of the journey after life. Some humorous interactions complement the complicated and far from perfect characters and a story of always growing and learning. #ClintReadsStuff

Thank you @tjklune for #UnderTheWhisperingDoor. This heterosexual, old(ish), cis-female living w/ incurable life shortening cancer couldn’t put it down, absolutely sobbed and hopes with her whole heart that she is assigned a Reaper like Mei and a ferryman like Hugo.

Got myself a couple of little presents today! Who can resist queer fantasy at that price🤩. It is likely that these offers are only available on Amazon UK, though.

T.J. Klune wrote a fantasy novel about a man who dies and finally learns how to live. I wrote about why it quietly made me a better person too. Wallace, Hugo, and especially Nelson stuck with me long after I closed the book. New on the blog now, five stars, tea included.

Under the Whispering Door by T.J. Klune – Book Review
I don't think about death the way I used to. After finishing Under the Whispering Door, I find myself hoping that somewhere between here and whatever comes next, there's a tea shop tucked between mountains, a patient ferryman, and just enough time to figure out who you were supposed to be.
