With Ballot Measure 1 passing, #Alaska workers making minimum wage are going to get a 32% raise between now and 2027. Great!
Meanwhile, #UniversityOfAlaska is proposing raises for faculty of 2-3% per year. Probably less for the vast majority of the workforce!

Those fighting for a University of #Alaska staff union say they are dealing with "stagnant salaries, increasing workloads, vanishing benefits, threats to job security," etc.
But so are faculty -- and they're already unionized.
